The 1st Court of Childhood, Youth and Elderly of Rio asked that a video of councilor Gabriel Monteiro having sex with a teenager be removed from Twitter. The decision is preliminary in nature and must be complied with within five hours after the company is notified. In case of non-compliance, the social network must pay a daily fine of R$ 30 thousand.

The request was made by the Public Ministry of Rio de Janeiro (MPRJ), through Judge Claudia Leonor Bobsin, who also ordered the monitoring of social networks, so that each time the video is republished, Twitter can delete it.

Last Wednesday (30), the Public Ministry was notified by the teenager's family that the content continues to circulate on social networks, which went viral. Because of the scope of the video and the damage it can cause to the victim's image and integrity, the family members requested that the content be removed urgently.

The Court also determined that the “hash” of the file (digital signature informed in the initial) be placed on a blacklist, so that whenever someone tries to upload it, the browser denies the operation.
